Jacqueline Boatman became interested in skin care as she approached 50 and did not like the changes in her skin. Since she did not feel old she certainly did not want to look old. After obtaining her esthetician license at age 52 and discovering a professional skin care line of innovative products that provided rapid and noticeable results, Face Saver Cosmetics was born.
Knowing that the community was long overdue for a serious skin care line and to help others maintain youthful skin, Jacqueline and her daughter, Olivia Lomax, started selling Face Saver Cosmetics to family and friends in December 2004. It was their families and friends that convinced the team to get the products to the consumer. They all believed the community was entitled to get the results they deserved from skin care products while maintaining suppleness, elasticity, clarity and beauty of the skin.
In order to get these high performing products to the community, Jacqueline and Olivia started an on-line store in 2005. In March 2007, they opened a small studio in Oak Park, Michigan. In November 2008, they moved to Farmington, Michigan. The company is a specialty cosmetic company operated by licensed estheticians that enjoy helping others and are passionate about face care. Face Saver's focus is to improve the appearance of the skin on the face with high performing and innovative skin care products and custom make-up.
Their services include therapeutic facials, removal of unwanted hair, hands and feet care, artificial eyebrows for permanent hair loss due to chemotherapy, genetics, over-tweezing or other trauma to the brow area, custom mineral make-up.
The mother-daughter team is focused on results-driven skin care and is committed to keeping skin healthy, youthful and beautiful. Their inspiration comes from their faith and genuine concern to help others. They are members of the American Skin Association, Lupus Alliance of America, the National Vitiligo Foundation and the National Coalition of Estheticians Manufacturers/Distributors & Associations.
